Dunwoven Woods
The forest that surround Archais is known as Dunwoven woods. On the whole, the forest is relatively peaceful and beautiful. Dunwoven is cool and damp during the summer, and frigid and white during the winter. The trees of the forest are relatively sparsely placed; allowing ample light to fill its nooks and crannies--there is plenty of moss and ground vegetation in Dunwoven.
The knights of the vigil keep everything under relative order, by patrolling the Hoof Trails. There is one problem in the woods, though. While the forest might not be full of trolls--as it was said to have been years ago, before the vigil wiped them out--there is still another green menace that plagues those unlucky enough to encounter them; goblins.
Even with the vigil's measured efforts, the goblins of Dunwoven have been swelling in population during the recent years. Nocturnal as they are, the goblins are rarely a problem for anyone out during the day--unless someone wanders into one of their cave dens. Nevertheless, traders, campers, and anyone wandering outside an inn or house in the woods at night may need to be careful. Goblins are tiny yes, but they're strong and viscous and they hunt in packs; and yes, hunt is the appropriate word--goblins eat humans.
NPCs
Name: The Goblin King
Race: Troll
Skills: Medium Armor: 26, Weapon, Battlaxe: 51, Leadership: 60, Shamanism: 30
Attributes: Dexterity: 77, Charisma: 60, Magic: 30
Description: Unbeknownst to the dawn's vigil and pretty much everyone else, there is still yet one troll in Dunwoven. Not only that, but this troll has followers; many, many little, green followers--who have lots of sharp teeth. The goblin king is a rough, gruff, and yet wise and aging troll. He commands his primal, goblin followers with an iron fist and lords over them from deep under Dunwoven.
Name: Marion
Race: Keronan
Skills: Druidism: 40, Land Navigation: 70, Tracking: 26, Survival: 30
Attributes: Magic: 40, Intelligence: 100, Wisdom: 30
Description: Marion is a kind, petite and toned, redheaded woman. Her clothes are as simple, as her features are beautiful. She is the local druid of Dunwoven. She speaks for the spirits of nature and guards their interests. She is gentle in her demeanor, but dutifully ruthless in her charge. Marion is easy to befriend and slow to anger, but to anger her is to invoke the wrath of the woods themselves.
